   i think your hedgehog is male.

   but you can check:
   take him and stroke his venter/stomach until he shows his full underpart
   - male: skinny knob (=penis) in the middle of his backside
   - female: no knob, but a second hole beside the pussy

   hmm, looks like hedgehogs works like humans
